These larger versions of the common, nocturnal flying mammal can be found in or near any cave on many of the islands of the Caribbean. Currently, four major species can be found.

• Cave Bat
• Rabid Bat
• Vampire Bat
• Fire Bat

BossesEdit

These are the most deadly Bats in the game. All bat bosses are rare bosses, and have no permanent spawn.

• Firesting (Vampire Bat) - Has appeared in Rat's Nest and Thieves' Den. (originally a Dire Wasp boss)
• Frightfang (Cave Bat) - Has been spotted at Thieves' Den, King's Run and Murky Hollow.
• Bloodleach (Cave Bat) - Has been spotted on Cuba and in Misty Mire.
• Devilwing (Vampire Bat) - Has been spotted in Rat's Nest.

AttacksEdit

• Bat Flurry - Beats pirate with its wings.
• Bite - Takes a nip of the pirate.
• Shriek - Uses its sonic cry.
• Talon Rake - Scratches with its claws.
