Crabs are a type of crustacean and are located in several islands in Pirates of the Caribbean Online. They are very large, covered with a thick exoskeleton, and are armed with a pair of claws.

The Crabs are located near water sources and are also needed in different quests. They are listed below from the weakest to the strongest:

[edit] Sand Crabs

The smallest and weakest of these creatures can be found in abundance on the beaches of several islands. They are barely even a threat to beginning pirates and may give you a nasty pinch on your toes, but are nice when served with fresh butter.

Appears at Level 1-5 (Health 50-175)

[edit] Stone Crabs

Slightly larger critters are really only dangerous to beginning pirates, and mostly just pests.

Appears at Level 2-5

[edit] Rock Crabs

These bigger cousins can be dangerous to beginning pirates, and are a bigger nuisance because they are often hidden - popping out AFTER the pirate has already ventured too close.

Appears at Level 5-9 (Health 250-650)

[edit] Giant Crabs

Monster doesn't quite cover these massive, walking tanks. Their armored shells are tremendously thick and their gigantic claws can rend beginning pirates asunder with only a few harsh snips!

Appears at Level 14-18 (Health 1,150-1,550)


[edit] Devourer Crabs

Devourer Crabs are the biggest, meanest crabs in the Caribbean. They are more than a match for even the most experienced of Pirates.
