The following are, in my opinion the best swords in PvP
Lost Sword of El Patron[]
The Lost Sword of El Patron is the very same weapon used by El Patron himself. Following his death, his sword was presumed lost. However, it was rediscovered among the other weapons in [[El Patron's Lost Weapons|his weapons collection, and the blade seems to be made of gold. This sword has the highest resale value in the game.
This Legendary is extremely powerful, and gives its (un)lucky wielder the ability to change into a ghost-like form for 12 seconds, which prevents half damage from ranged and combat attacks.
It is currently one of only seven weapons of the Legendary Class, and was the first of these to be released. This is the only known weapon with Ghost Form.

Blade of the Abyss[]
Blade of the Abyss is a Legendary Cursed Cutlass with a very powerful Inferno Sweep skill and a Break Attack ability that lights all enemies around your sword on fire. It also is the only sword with a rank 3 Blood Fire, which makes the weapon far more lethal as it defeats enemies. This is the only Legendary Weapon that has the Blood Fire ability, and boosts the wielder's Sweep skill. The sword leaves behind a blood red shadow, instead of the traditional black shadow most Cursed blades have. Despite its appearance, it is a cutlass, not a broadsword.

The Dark Mutineer[]
[1]The Dark Mutineer is a powerful Famed Cursed Cutlass. This weapon offers its user defensive and offensive abilities with the Dark Curse skill, changing the wielder into an orange ghost. It can also damage the enemy's Voodoo power and boost a pirate's Brawl ability. This damaging weapon is the only Famed Cursed Cutlass that has the Voodoo Damage ability. It also is currently has the highest attack for famed cutlasses. However, it requires the skill of a master swordsman to wield this powerful weapon. This weapon is a Cursed Blade so like most others, it is followed by a black trail.

Whalebone Blade[]
[2]The Whalebone Blade is a powerful Famed Cursed Blade.[3]It grants the user the Cursed Ice ability, and also gives boosts to the pirate's Parry and Endurance skills. With the boost, the sword will give you more health when you use it. Like most Cursed Blades, the blade is followed black shadow. It looks like, and is often mistaken as, Nautilus Blade and Doom Rattler, which are also Famed Cursed Blades. As its name states, it is apparently made out of whalebone.

Thunderspine Sword[]
[4]Thunderspine Sword is a Legendary Cursed Cutlass which requires a master swordsman in order to be wielded. It has a unique Shock Sweep ability to jolt nearby enemies with lightning. The only other Legendary with the Shock Sweep ability is The Emerald Curse. This is the only Legendary Weapon that has Critical Strike. Just like most other Cursed Blades, it has a black trail following it. This Legendary Weapon also has an impressive Thrust boost. Also like most Cursed Blades, it seems to be made of bone.

Behemoth Blade[]
[5]The Behemoth Blade is a very powerful Legendary Cursed Broadsword. By sheer brute force, it can easily dispose of large groups of enemies. Being a relatively defense-oriented weapon while maintaining excellent offensive capabilities make this blade a uniquely powerful tool in the right hands. It has a Dark Curse ability that keeps the user from taking half of the damage taken from ranged and combat attacks. It also has the very useful Sure Footed ability which prevents the user from being knocked down by Stumps, Fire Bats, and Powder Keg Runners. This lethal weapon looks identical to the devastating World Eater Blade, with which it is commonly confused. It also has an Endurance Boost of +5, which gives the user the most health a pirate can have in the game currently.
World Eater Blade[]
[6]The World Eater Blade is a powerful Legendary Cursed Broadsword. This deadly bringer of doom can slaughter large numbers of enemies in a matter of seconds. It has Freeze Sweep, Drain Voodoo, and the powerful Drain Health ability. Like most Cursed Blades, a black shadow follows when this destructive blade is swung. Only a master swordsman can wield this mighty weapon. This blade has the highest attack power out of all weapons in the game.

Barracuda Blade[]
[7]The Barracuda Blade is a tremendously powerful and deadly Famed Cursed Broadsword. It has the Critical Strike ability and a high attack power. Like most Cursed Blades, it is followed by a black shadow. This sword is the only known sword to have a Blade Storm Boost, making it a much sought-after item. This is the only Famed Cursed Broadsword that has Critical Strike at Rank 3. It requires a master swordsman to wield this lethal blade.

Tyrant Blade[]
[8]The Tyrant Blade is a very powerful Famed Cursed Broadsword. This blade grants its user the Cursed Ice and Drain Health abilities, along with a Brawl Boost. This powerful death bringer is the only Famed Cursed Blade with the Drain Health ability. This weapon, like most other Cursed Blades, is followed by a black shadow.

Sharkfang Blade[]
[9]The Sharkfang Blade is a very powerful Famed Cursed Blade that grants its user Cursed Ice and a powerful Critical Strike ability. It also boosts a pirate's Endurance skill by 2. Like most other Cursed Blades, the weapon is followed by a black shadow.

Treachery's End[]
[10]Treachery's End is a very powerful Famed Cursed Broadsword. This Blade has a Dark Curse Break Attack which prevents half damage from ranged and combat attacks, a powerful Critical Strike ability, and a Voodoo Damage ability. As this weapon is a cursed blade, it's deadly swing is followed by a black shadow. This is also the only famed cursed broadsword with the Dark Curse ability.

The Emerald Curse[]
[11]The Emerald Curse is a Legendary Cursed Blade with a very powerful Shock Sweep Break Attack ability. The only other weapon to have this skill is the Thunderspine Sword.
Unique only to this item, The Emerald Curse has an emerald green shadow trailing it, instead of a black trail like all other Cursed Blades, except for the Blade of the Abyss which has a blood red shadow trailing it.
This weapon has the lowest resale price for a Legendary Cursed Blade. It requires a master fencer to use it, and has an unusually high attack for a sabre. This sabre, like all other Cursed weapons, can only be found on Isla Tormenta and Raven's Cove.
It appears to be made out of some sort of crystal, most likely emerald, hence the name Emerald Curse. It has a Parry boost of 4+, joining the Behemoth Blade as the only weapons in the game with a skill boost of +4 or higher. Currently, this is the only known Legendary sabre in the game.

Dread Spike[]
[12]Dread Spike is a Famed Cursed Sabre. Like most Cursed Blades, it is followed by a black shadow. It grants the user the Cursed Thunder ability that allows the user to strike their enemy with lightning, gives a Critical Strike ability, and a Cyclone Cut boost.

Doom Stinger[]
[13]The Doom Stinger is a Famed Cursed Sabre. Being the strongest Famed Sabre in the game, this slim harbinger of death can set your enemies aflame with Cursed Fire, and poison them with the deadly venom strike ability. This deadly sword is the only Famed Cursed Sabre with theCursed Fire ability and the Venom Strike ability. It also has a useful Parry boost, helping to block enemy melee attacks. Like most Cursed Blades, it is followed by a black shadow.
