We all know how frustrating it can be when you try to make a potion. I'm here to put an end to it. Read
carefully, and you might learn some good things. Here we go...
Make Columns[]
First of all, you must go to Port Royal.
Visit a gypsy and start brewing potions. I'll try to explain this as simple as possible. Look at the picture below. Notice the combinations I have made, and also notice that I have made columns.
See the columns?
Looks much better than the random stuff. Do YOU wanna learn how? It's super easy.
How To Make Columns[]
On the right is a picture of the slots you should have on your potion table.
Two slots are red, two slots are blue, and two slots are green. But what about the other slots at each end? Well, those are just unimportant. So you can put whatever you like there.
Now look at the small picture on the left. My first pair of ingredients are: Blue, Green. As you can see, I have placed them in their correct slots.
So you see? It's no problem if there's a pair with different ingredients. You can still make good use of them. Believe it or not, a pair with different ingredients is more useful than a pair with the same ingredients. Why? Because a pair with different ingredients (Okay, I'm gonna start calling them diffy-ingries from now on) can operate on two columns at once, while a pair with the same ingredients just operate on one column.
Remember, if you need to switch the ingredients around, hit the space bar, or right-click.
So I keep on going, now take a look.
Now isn't that much better than the picture below?
Okay, let's move on to the tips and warnings.
Moving On To The Tips And Warnings[]
- This will only work at Port Royal. All of the other islands have a more types of ingredients such as Gold and Lava, while Port Royal only has the main ingredients.
- If you mess up, don't fret. You may be able to fix it by creating combinations by attracting the misplaced ingredient back on the right side.
- Don't be careless! You could mess up and end up putting an ingredient on the wrong spot, so take your time.
- This tactic works with ANY potion you want to make, and if you are perfect, you will never fill up the slots too high.
