Tutorial Pop-Up Hints are in-game hints that appear on-screen during the Tutorial. Unlike Tutorial Game Hints, which can be turned off, these cannot, unless the player follows the instructions displayed on the hint, or presses the gray "OK" button on the hint. These Pop-Up Hints stop showing up shortly after a player ends the Tutorial and begins The Black Pearl Crew Story Quest on Tortuga.

Hints Appearing on Rambleshack[]
The following hints appear on the first part of the Tutorial, when a player starts out on Rambleshack. If a player opts to skip this part of the Tutorial, the hints that appear on this island will be skipped as well.

After being forced to walk the plank off the Grim Reaper by Jolly Roger, players swim to Port Royal to progress the tutorial. These hints appear there:

Hints Appearing After the Tutorial[]
The following hints appear after the player completes the Tutorial and the Set Sail Story Quest. They do not appear immediately, however. They only appear once the new pirate has logged on for the second time ever.
