Jail
From Pirates of the Caribbean Online Wiki
Jail is a building where prisoners are taken in Pirates of the Caribbean Online.
The Jail is also the location where the player respawns after getting defeated by an enemy and then NOT revived. Awakening in jail, the pirate is in a groggy mode. Then, the player has the ability to break out of Jail by kicking the jail cell door open and then escape.
NOTE: Lower level pirates will NOT be groggy upon awakening.
A typical Jail is a building made out of stone bricks and lighted with some torches. The jail cells are down in the basement or the basic room of the Jail and is usually watched over by a sleeping Navy Soldier.
[edit] Where?
Jails are located on the main islands in the game, usually in a settlement or near a fort.
- Port Royal - Near the Fort Charles gate.
- Tortuga - In town
- Padres Del Fuego - Inside Fort Dundee.
- Cuba - On the beach
Game Note - There is actually a jail on Kingshead, at the top of the main fortress - under very heavy guard. This jail is currently NOT housing prisoners. But, speculation and rumor abound for what uses the stronghold may have in the future.
