A supernatural horror where a being continues to exist after they should have died.

Undead cannot die by natural means.

In Pirates of the Caribbean Online, the term refers to the skeletons of pirates and sailors that Jolly Roger has brought back from the dead to join his army and attack the settlements in the Caribbean.

Since skeletons are no longer human, the Pirate's Code no longer applies and pirates can use any weapon to dispose of them, including guns.
