I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed, but lately the polls on the POTCO site have been a precursor to the next thing to be released. The whole "Pirate's Greatest Nemesis" poll lead to the release of the Nemesis Blade.
The new poll asks "What are the EITC up to?"
The options are:
Smuggling something
Spying with the Black Guard
Raising island taxes
And the one that I chose:
Using silver mines as a front
Maybe Disney has an update in the works, one that involves the EITC on Padres del Fuego (and possibly their silver mining operations). New story quest or (for once) code-free weapons, anyone?
