I had totally forgotten about the Insider video series that was put out about the time Pirates was coming out. It's very informative stuff on how the game was made but more interestingly on what didn't get in as well as what was cut or changed over the years.Read more >
Several times over the years I have debated about whether or not to post damage charts for basic skills (Lead Ball, Sweep, etc.) primarily because these numbers are VERY arbitrary and will vary from pirate to pirate depending upon the skill level, equipment etc. So, really - listing the basic damages for such skills is moot.

I hope other admins forgive me for taking the initiative here, but DissidiaGameMaster's constant verbal abuse and flagrant disregard has more than warranted 1 weeks vacation. And that's the only real warning I'm giving him. Any other attitude, and he's done here.

I know I've not been as active lately, but hitting such a milestone I had to look back at where the Wikia has come. Its tempting to take credit for a lot of things, but this is and has been a team effort from nearly Day 1. If anything, I credit Pirates Online Forums and their decision or lack of decision to let me help with their Wiki - which prompted me to find another one.
I came here and found a good bit of groundwork laid, but not much else since the inception. I had an idea of what would work, but any origin concepts and structure have long since evolved due to the monumental efforts of the great staff we have here.
Thank you gang for giving the Amazon a reason to edit.
