Tips on ship upgrades

For the ship upgrades if you need money for the cargo upgrade because it costs a lot, is to get rank III streamline or armor and then at rank III parallel upgrade to III cargo and does not cost nearly as much money as it would for going cargo I -> II -> III. Hope this helped anyone! :)
