This is the first weapon for using voodoo magic. It is worth learning how to use the doll's powers with a keyboard rather than with the mouse, because then you can launch doll attacks while running away from enemy counterattacks.

First, use the Control key to attune your doll to the enemy. To start running, use the letter R key. You can maneuver the running pirate with left or right arrow keys; don't use up or down arrows until you want the pirate to stop running. Keep your left hand poised over number keys so that you can launch new attacks with them as each skill recharges. Running away is very effective against enemies like Veterans or Giant Crabs who need to be close to your pirate to attack.

A mystical doll said to be able to bind to the spirit of anything it touches.

• Needed for Unlock: Notoriety - Level 5 (Quest: Tia Dalma - Cuba)

A powerful doll able to bind to the spirits of the living and the dead. It has +2 damage per hit.

• Needed for Unlock: Doll Skill - Level 5

• Cost: 300 coins (Gypsy - Towns)

An elaborate oriental doll said to be able to strongly bind to the spirit of the others. It has +4 damage per hit.

You can obtain this doll by completing a quest to release a spirit from a shard of a relic of Tia Dalma's. This quest will involve you to kill any enemy at every island and main port save those of the Privateering islands.
